I’m sharing a great recipe with you. It’s a recipe for a juicy and delicious cake with apples and poppy seeds. One of the most beautiful cakes I’ve made in recent times, and the making has never been easier and faster. Rum and cinnamon give it a special taste, which are perfectly complemented by apples and poppy seeds.
Simple preparation and ingredients that are easily available to everyone make it my number 1 favorite.

Necessary food items 👇
– 2 L-sized eggs
– 150g of sugar
– A pinch of salt
– 1 vanilla sugar
– 100ml of oil
– 150ml of yogurt
– 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
– 1 teaspoon of rum flavor
– 100g of ground poppy seeds
– 150g of flour
– 1 baking powder
– 800g of pickled apples
Manufacturing process👇
1) Beat eggs, a pinch of salt, sugar and vanilla sugar with a mixer until foamy, about 7 minutes. Add oil, yogurt, cinnamon, rum aroma and continue to beat until the mixture is uniform
2) Add poppy seeds, flour and baking powder. Mix slowly until all lumps disappear. Let’s set aside the mixture for the stake
3) Wash and peel the apples. We grate them into thin slices.
Add the apples to the dough and mix carefully to separate the apple slices and mix them with the dough
4) Cover the 24×14 mold with baking paper. We pour half of the mixture for the cake and pat it so that the apples are nicely distributed. Add the second part of the mixture and flatten the cake
5) Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) for about 50 minutes.
Before serving, decorate the powder with sugar
