Tangerine Cake

Tangerine Cake. The holidays are getting closer and we all want to prepare the most beautiful holiday table and make our loved ones happy. That’s why today my suggestion is a delicious and decorative mandarin cake. Easy to prepare, and with its appearance and fantastic taste, it will beautify any table.

Necessary food items:
– 4 eggs
– 150g of sugar
– 1 vanilla sugar
– 120g of melted butter
– 120ml of squeezed mandarin juice
– 220g of flour
– 1 baking powder
– about 5-6 tangerines (depends on the baking mold)
– powdered sugar for decorating the baked cake

Manufacturing process:
Beat eggs, sugar and vanilla sugar with a mixer. Add melted butter and tangerine juice. Combine everything and gradually add sifted flour and baking powder.
Peel the tangerines and cut them in half. Sprinkle the 25 cm diameter mold with sugar and arrange the tangerines so that the straight cut side is facing the bottom of the mold. Carefully pour the biscuit mixture over them.
Bake at 180°C (356°F) for about 40 minutes.
Transfer the baked cake to a serving tray and decorate with powdered sugar.
Cut the cooled cake and serve.
