Rolled Sourdough Scone

Rolled Sourdough Scone. Interesting scone, form from rolls with a delicious cheese and ham filling.
Category: Bread and Dough

Dough :
– 150 ml of milk
– 7g of dry yeast
– 1 spoon of sugar
– 2 eggs
– 70ml of oil
– 180ml of yogurt
– 1 teaspoon of salt
– 700g of flour

Charging:
– 300g of small cheese
– 200g of ham

For coating:
– 1 egg yolk
– 1 spoon of milk
– sesame and chia seeds

Knead the dough from the above ingredients, cover and leave it in a warm place for about 1 hour to rise. Transfer the risen dough to a floured surface, knead and leave for another 15 minutes.
We stretch the dough into a rectangular shape about 5 mm thick and cut it into 9 equal small rectangles.

We separate each of those 9 parts a little, fill them with filling, roll them halfway, and cut the other half of the dough into narrow strips, roll the dough all the way and we have a nice roll.
We repeat the procedure with all parts of the test.

Cover the baking sheet with baking paper and arrange the rolls in a circle as shown in the video.
We will get a nice shape that looks like an octopus to me.
Let the cake rise for 20 minutes, then coat it with egg yolk and sprinkle with seeds.

Bake at 200°C (392°F) for about 25 minutes.
Brush the baked cake with water and cover with a kitchen towel to soften.

The scone is very soft and airy like a cloud, and the taste is fantastic.
