Ingredients for the dough:
– 3 eggs
– 120g of butter
– 120g of sugar
– 1 vanilla sugar
– A pinch of salt
– 180g of flour
– 10 g of baking powder

Required for the base:
– 50g of butter
– 70g of sugar
– 100g of walnuts
– 700g of apples
– 2 tablespoons of lemon juice

And more:
– Powdered sugar for decoration

Procedure:
1) Grease the bottom and sides of a 28×18 mold with butter, sprinkle with sugar and chopped walnuts.

2) Peel the apples and cut them into cubes, sprinkle with lemon juice and mix, and then place them on the bottom of the mold. Put the mold aside.

3) We make the dough.
Beat butter, a pinch of salt and sugar with a mixer. Gradually add one egg at a time. Beat until foamy. Finally, sift flour and 1 baking powder into the dough. We mix gently until we get a smooth dough without lumps.

4) Pour the dough over the apples and flatten.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) for about 40 minutes

5) Cool the baked cake and turn it over from the mold so that the nuts and apples are on top. If desired, decorate the powder with sugar.
