Recipe:
– 2 eggs
– 1 teaspoon of vanilla
– 150g of sugar
– 150 ml of milk
– 100ml of oil
– 1 baking powder
– 220g of flour
– 2 tablespoons of bread crumbs
– 2 large apples
– Powdered sugar for decoration
Preparation:
Break the eggs, add vanilla extract and sugar and beat with a mixer until the sugar melts and the mixture becomes foamy.
Add milk, then oil and mix until the ingredients are combined.
Add the baking powder to the flour and then sift it all into the egg mixture. At the end, we add bread crumbs to make the dough even more airy.
Mix until all the lumps disappear and the dough becomes smooth.
Wash and peel 2 apples and then grate them into thin slices.
Add the apple leaves to the dough and mix carefully so that the mass is evenly distributed.
Line a 25 cm diameter mold with baking paper.
We pour the mixture into the mold and flatten it.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) for about 40 minutes.
Take out the cooled cake on a serving tray and decorate with powdered sugar.
Serve with coffee or tea.
