Fig Upside Down Cake. The sweet, juicy and delicious figs I have in my yard arrived and I decided to make my family happy with a nice cake with this favorite fruit.
For all of you, as an inspiration, I will make an upside-down cake with fresh figs, beautiful, tasty, decorative, and very simple and easy to prepare.

Recipe:
Necessary ingredients:
– 3 eggs
– 180 g of sugar
– 1 vanilla sugar
– 150 ml of yogurt
– 100 ml of oil
– 280 g of flour
– 10 g of baking powder
– about 1 kg of fresh figs
– powdered sugar for decoration
Procedure:
Wash the figs, dry them, remove the stems and cut them in half. Arrange them in a round mold, 25 cm in diameter, lined with parchment paper, with the cut part towards the bottom of the mold.
Let’s put it aside while we make the biscuit dough.
Beat three whole eggs, sugar and vanilla sugar with a mixer until the sugar melts and the mixture has a fine foamy structure.
Add yogurt and oil and mix with a whisk until the ingredients are combined.
Add baking powder to the flour and sift everything through a sieve into the dough. Mix until all lumps disappear and the mixture becomes smooth.
We pour the mixture over the arranged figs and level them.
Bake the cake in a preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) for about 40 minutes.
Before serving, let the cake cool completely and decorate with powdered sugar.
