Ingredients for the dough:
– 2 eggs
– 1 teaspoon of vanilla flavoring
– A pinch of salt
– 40g of white sugar
– 70g of brown sugar
– 90 ml of oil
– 1 teaspoon of grated fresh ginger
– 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
– 100g of ground walnuts
– 250g of pumpkin puree
– 130g of flour
– 10g of baking powder

Ingredients for the dressing:
– 100g of butter
– 100g of cream cheese
– 100g of powdered sugar

Making process:
1) Bake the pumpkin in the oven. Clean it and make puree from roasted pumpkin

2) Break eggs, add vanilla flavoring, salt and both types of sugar. Beat with a mixer at medium speed until the mixture becomes foamy. Add oil, grated ginger, cinnamon, ground walnuts. Stir to combine all the ingredients.
Finally, add pumpkin puree and flour mixed with baking powder. Mix lightly.

3) Pour the dough into a 22 cm diameter mold lined with baking paper.
Bake the cake in a preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) for about 40 minutes

4) Leave the baked cake to cool, while we make the topping for our cake.
Combine softened butter, cream cheese and powdered sugar and mix well. Cover the cake with the resulting cream.

The cake is ready for tasting.
