Dough recipe:
– 250g of flour
– 1 baking powder
– A pinch of salt
– 80g of sugar
– 125g of butter
– 2 eggs

Recipe for the filling:
– 2 eggs
– A pinch of salt
-100g of sugar
– 1 vanilla sugar
-100g of melted butter
– 150 ml of sweet cream

And more:
– 2 red apples
– 2 green apples
– Almond leaves
– Powdered sugar

Procedure:
1) First, knead the dough by mixing flour, baking powder, a pinch of salt, sugar and butter. Knead with your hands until the butter is combined with the other ingredients. At the end, we add eggs and knead until we get a smooth dough.
Wrap the dough in transparent foil and put it in the fridge for about 1 hour.

2) Roll out the dough with a rolling pin, transfer it to a mold with a diameter of 26 cm and press it well. We raise the edges against the walls of the mold and remove the excess dough. Prick it with a fork so that it rises evenly

3) Wash the apples, cut them into quarters and remove the pits. Cut each quarter into thin slices and arrange them over the dough, alternating green and red apple slices.

4) Make the filling by beating the eggs, adding a pinch of salt, sugar and vanilla sugar. Beat with a mixer until the mixture becomes foamy. Then add melted butter and sweet cream to the filling. Continue mixing until all ingredients are well combined.

5) Pour the filling over the apples and sprinkle with almond leaves.
Bake the pie in a preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) for about 40 minutes

Decorate the cooled pie with powdered sugar and serve

Good appetite ❣️
