It is necessary:
150 ml of milk
50g of sugar
25g of fresh yeast
1 spoon of flour
2 eggs
80 ml of oil
150 ml of kefir, 1 teaspoon of salt
600-650g of plain flour

Stuffing:
300g of ground walnuts
150g of sugar
1 vanilla sugar
100 ml of milk

For coating:
1 egg yolk
1 spoon of milk

Procedure:
1) Add sugar to lukewarm milk and crush the yeast.
Add a spoonful of flour. We wait about 10 minutes for the yeast to activate.
Add oil, kefir and salt to the yeast. Break 2 eggs.
Stir to combine all ingredients. Add sifted flour, part by part. We mix first with a blender, and then when we add enough flour, we knead by hand. Knead until the dough stops sticking to your hands.
Cover the dough and leave it in a warm place for about 1 hour to rise.

2) After 1 hour, the dough has filled the bowl to the top. Place it on a floured surface and knead it a little. Let’s let him rest a little longer.

3) During this time, we prepare the filling for the strudel. Grind walnuts and add sugar and vanilla sugar. Finally, pour hot milk over everything and mix well

4) The dough is ready to work. Using a rolling pin, roll out the dough into a square shape and about 1 cm thick.
We spread the dough with the walnut filling and spread it evenly everywhere.
Roll the dough into a roll. We pinch the edges so that they do not open.
Cut the roll lengthwise in the middle with a sharp knife.
Cross both halves and twist one around the other.
We put the braid in a tray lined with parchment paper and twist it into a circle. Let it rise while the oven heats up.
Before baking, coat the strudel with beaten egg yolk and milk

5) Bake it at 180°C (356°F) for about 40 minutes
Cover the roast with a towel to soften.
Before serving, decorate with powdered sugar.
